Kashmir: Two CRPF jawans killed as vehicle loses control due to stone-pelting

Two CRPF personnel were killed after stone-pelters allegedly caused a paramilitary vehicle to crash at Hiller Kokernag in south Kashmir’s Anantnag district on Wednesday evening.
The incident took place around 6.50 pm, while CRPF personnel were withdrawing after law-and-order duty in the area.
“It is learnt that the driver was hit by a stone pelted by a miscreant, due to which he lost control of the vehicle. This resulted in the death of two CRPF jawans and injury to another. An FIR has been registered into the incident, and an investigation is on,” a police statement read.
